China has clearly become one of the most important economic powers in the world, making a business study abroad program in China very timely.
Professor Richard Spreng will lead a study abroad program in China for Summer 2014. The program will be three weeks in China, with on-campus sessions in East Lansing during Spring semester, and we will visit five Chinese cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
Activities will include visits to businesses, and historical and cultural excursions. Firms visited in the past have included Amway, Procter & Gamble, Dow Corning, Morpace Research, Borg Warner, Ducker Worldwide, Dragon Seal Wine Company, Vision Critical, Cathay Pacific Airline, and others.

The Coca-Cola Foundation, the global philanthropic arm of the Coca-Cola Company, has awarded Michigan State University a grant totaling $200,000 in support of the U.S. State Department’s 100,000 Strong Initiative.
