U.S. News ranks Broad undergrad program 24th, marketing 19th

The Broad College of Business has one of the top 25 business programs and the best supply chain management program in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest rankings of undergraduate programs.

The Broad College climbed from 28th in last year’s rankings to 24th overall this year and 14th among public institutions. The college’s supply chain program rose from 2nd to 1st, beating out Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s program.

Other college programs that were individually ranked include:

• Production/Operations Management – 12
• Accounting – 14
• Marketing – 19
• International Business – 24

The U.S. News annual undergraduate business ranking is solely based on results from a survey of deans and senior faculty members at all Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-accredited undergraduate business programs.

The improved showing marks the third time in less than a year that the business college has cracked the top 25 in a national publication. Forbes ranked the college’s MBA program 19th in August, while Bloomberg Businessweek late last year ranked the MBA program 20th, its highest ranking ever in that publication.

Eli and Edythe L. Broad Dean Stefanie Lenway says she is pleased that her peers consider the Broad College as a top 25 undergraduate business program. “We can be proud of the quality education the Broad College offers in the classroom and beyond, in terms of advising and academic services, career services, multicultural and leadership training, study abroad opportunities, experiential learning and more,” she says.
