The marketing programs integrate topics from sales, marketing management, marketing research, and international marketing into a unified course of study. The programs are designed with the realization that essential breakthroughs in business productivity and quality must be process based and such processes must transcend traditional business functionality and embrace the need for cross-organizational relationships.
The Department of Marketing is home to three degree programs: (1) BA in Marketing, (2) MS in Marketing Research and (3) PhD in Business with a major in marketing. Additionally, we offer a specialization in sales communications at the undergraduate level, a minor in international business at the undergraduate level, and we play support roles for three other master’s programs in business (the Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA, and the MS in Business Analytics) and for a variety of degree programs offered by other colleges at MSU.
